March to End Violence

Sign a pledge to end violence. March begins at 11am on the Chapel steps. There will be a short "talk back" following the march at the Gazebo.

Freedom to Marry Celebration!!!

5-6pm: Marriage Equality information forum @ Gazebo. 6-7pm Wedding Reception in Tweedie Conference Room .

Day of Silence

The “Day of Silence” is an annual student-organized day of action to protest the bullying and harassment of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) students, and their straight allies. Students take a day-long vow of silence to symbolically represent the silencing of GLBT students and their allies.


Breaking the Silence
5 pm at the Gazebo

The period of silence will end with this "breaking the silence" event in which participating students will gather together and share both about their experiences being silent as well as poetic readings and songs related to issues of importance to the GLBT community.

Let’s do the “Time Warp” again!  Feel free to dress in costume for this cult classic that bubbles with zest, wit, strange scenes, great songs and a huge host of memorable characters.

Freedom Rings Annual Alumni Luncheon

During our time together, we will present the Wheeler Freedom Award to a member of the local community, and share about the opportunities/concerns of individuals as well as local LGBT organizations.

Freedom Rings at Equality Forum

Take a break from finals to join us the largest national and international GLBT civil rights forum.
